Did you know that there are tons of camping areas all around Bali? In fact camping is a popular activity for Indonesian people, and Bali has some great campgrounds, many of them with basic facilities and set among magnificent scenery. These campgrounds are often located near areas of special interest such as Mount Batur, Jatiluwih rice terraces, or some of Bali’s best beaches. They make great jumping off points for further exploration of the island. There’s also the option to just pull up on a remote beach, gather some firewood, and soak in the magic of Bali.
